Here is a TENTATIVE SCHEDULE for the weekend.
Saturday, Sept. 12 …
10 a.m. – Time trials
1 p.m. – Gambler’s Race
2 p.m. – Qualifying in All Classes
Grudge matches will take place during the qualifying rounds. We’ve got the grudge match between Boo King’s 1968 Nuclear Banana Camaro and Pizza Boys 1978 Malibu.
Then we’ll see what happens when Justin Stannard’s “The Hitman” Pro Mod twin turbo 1941 willies and the 2006 blown alcohol Pro Mod Corvette built and tuned by Chris Duncan meet at the starting line.
There’s lots more grudge races to take place. Racers from all classes have called each other out.
We hope to have the day’s program completed by 8 p.m.
Then we’ll enjoy some entertainment from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m.
10 a.m. – Time Trials
12 p.m. – Eliminations
A full afternoon of intense racing as we see who will take top spot in each class. Each will go home with a fist full of cash and bragging rights.
We are watching the weather forecast closely and go by hourly forecasts, not daily.
We won’t let Mother Nature stop this race.
